Our Pounamu Koru Necklace is crafted from New Zealand jade, which is also known as greenstone, or pounamu, to Māori.

The koru design represents the unfurling frond of the native New Zealand silver fern and is symbolic of hope, growth and new beginnings.

Pounamu is deeply treasured by Māori for its strength, beauty and connection to the spiritual world.

The Pounamu Koru Necklace is available in the below sizes and comes hung on a one size fits all adjustable waxed polyester cord, suitable for adults and children.

Packaging:
Your Pounamu Koru Necklace will come in a jewellery box for safekeeping. We will then carefully package your jewellery box in a small cardboard box, with paper filling for extra protection. We will ship this to you in our eco-friendly compostable courier bag.

If your purchase is a gift, we offer gift wrapping and a hand-written gift messaging service for $6 NZD.

Shipping:

For orders being delivered outside of New Zealand, your parcel may be subject to tax and duty charges depending on the country of delivery. You are responsible for the payment of these charges; River Jade Crafts will not reimburse these costs.
