Special Event Limited Edition Lladro Figurine - “Tailor Made” Number 6489, retired after one year high quality
This piece has a stamp on the bottom designating it as an exclusive production for an event on Nov 15, 1997. Its last retail price was $150. Titled in Spanish “Pequena Costurera”, it is in excellent glazed condition.
Tailor made is a joy to behold, no matter from which angle. The young woman holds a sewing box, making her the tailor as well as having a fully tailored appearance herself. Her hand rests in graceful poise over the box, and she holds a flower in her other hand. The detail in the folds of her skirt, her pensive look, and the lines of her sweeping hat are all examples of Lladro's art and skill.
