This is a beautiful Victorian solid Nickel needle case patented and manufactured by W. Avery & Son of Redditch
W. Avery & Son was a successful needle manufacturer in the Victorian era. The company was based in Headless Criss - a small village on the southwest side of Redditch in the county in Worcestershire, England and produced figural needle cases between 1868-1889.
The high quality case is in excellent condition and it's pivoted lid is in full working order with the internal mechanism in full working order
