Early high quality Whiting and Davis Double-Sided Dresden Bag in Large Size with Crocheted Fringe and Stamped Hangtag

Wonderful Whiting & Davis Dresden Mesh Bag with painterly abstract designs on both sides in pink, blue, turquoise and deep orange. Has a desirable crocheted lace style bottom fringe. Measures 7” top
Of frame to bottom of bag. 6” across the top frame and 6.5” across the bottom of the mesh. Frame has a lovely embossed design. Chain has lovely detail and a 7” drop to the clasp. Clasp is tight. Frame is aligned. Mark is not on the frame but on a tiny, diamond shaped hang tag inside. I've seen this hangtag before only on the earliest bags. I believe this to be Edwardian to 1920's in time high quality period. The bag is not and was never lined. As shown in photos there is a loop missing in the crochet area and some disconnected loops at one side of the hinge area of the frame. These are minor issues considering the age and are easily fixed by someone with skills and patience (not me, sorry!).
