high quality This is a unique, vintage, black, glass, eagle, claw, foot sculpture or paperweight. It is handblown of jet-black glass and measures approximately 2 inches in diameter and 4 inches in length. The glass ball is made of a thinner glass which you are able to see through when held up to the light. I would imagine that the claw has been blown separately and then applied to the glass orb. The pontil at the top of the leg has been cut and polished smooth. It is a very, unusual curiosity and is in excellent condition, but with one, air bubble on the bottom of the glass ball which occurred during the blowing process of the piece.
