Soholm high quality Denmark Hand Made Pottery 10" Vase, Mid Century Modern Scandinavian Pottery

This terrific mid-century modern vase was made in Denmark by Soholm, that operated on the island of Bornholm from 1835 until it closed in 1996. The stoneware vase was designed by Noomi Backhausen and Poul Brandborg and was part of the Noomi 69 series. The top is hand painted and glazed with a green, blue, black, and brown abstract pattern while the bottom is a matte neutral sand color. The stoneware vase is 10 inches high and 6 inches across and is heavy at 4 pounds.
