This 16.5 by 8 by 1.2 inch thick cutting board features a wide band of big sur marble, chrysocolla and golden mica. California Sycamore is a lighter wood, with elements of straw, peach, and a whole range of browns, with light spalting. California Sycamore closely resembles Australian Lacewood.

After being sanded, the board is treated with 3 coats of Emmets good stuff food safe Finish. With appropriate care, it will last a lifetime!!! The salad bowl finish actually sets up in the wood, and seals the natural pigments.

All woods are harvested locally by local tree trimmers, and would otherwise end up high quality in the fireplace or landfill.
