Elegant Vintage Bust of Victorian Boy high quality by Alexander Backer - Circa 1950

You're looking at an outstanding vintage bust by Alexander Backer, circa 1950s. It is a Victorian or Edwardian era boy. This would make a lovely gift to a grandparent or parents, and would work well with many different high quality styles of decor. He is stamped with the Alexander Backer logo, and has protective felt on the base. This is substantial and weighty. He is not in mint condition, but is absolutely displayable and lovely, even with a tiny fleabite here and there. I actually think the little age marks add to the patina and the feeling of having something truly vintage. Simply a charming display piece on a mantel, piano, bookshelf, or end table.
