Product code: Hamilton Boulton high quality Vintage Watch
While the Hamilton Boulton is one of the best selling watches of all time from any brand this particular watch is much rarer. This is a 1940 model--the inaugural year for the Boulton. This gold filled watch with a silvery "butler" or "oyster" dial (as Hamilton called it) is in lovely running condition. The cal. 982 manual wind movement works well. It could use a service eventually but is working well currently. The crystal is a New Old Stock acrylic crystal and was just replaced. The strap is a 16mm lizard embossed brown leather strap. The high quality case is in very good shape with slight wear on the back of one lug as pictured. The caseback was engraved by a previous owner, possibly way back in 1940. The dial shows some light wear as pictured but is in good shape for being over 80 years old. Shown on 7.25 inch wrist for reference.
