High quality French Country Fall Landscape Painting with Trees and Farm Gate, Antique Original Art

A charming antique French country landscape painting dating from the early 1900s. The original art piece depicts an early Fall scene in France with a path, tall trees and a wooden farm gate. The small oil painting has been created on a wooden panel and is mounted in an ornate gold-tone wooden frame. It is unsigned. It is interesting to note that the artist had originally intended to include the figure of a horse in the painting abut later changed their mind. There is a faint outline of the silhouette of a horse walking on the path.

Painting: 9" Wide x 7.5" Tall (23 cm x 18 cm).

CONDITION:
The French country landscape is in very good antique condition with some light surface marks in places.
