Nice antique pair of wood thin porch corbel brackets. There in a worn red finish with an old stain white in the centers. They were removed from an old 1880s farmhouse in upstate NY. The corbels show wear consistent with age, use and weather exposure. There are chips, nails, nail holes, weather checks, and minor splits. One has a soft spot along the back side, seams the wood is weathered and dry. The tops where trimmed and the paint touched up. The corbels would make great original replacements high quality, new construction, or shelf brackets. Overall salvaged condition.
