The leather bag is fabulous and could be used for a multitude of things. It is stamped on the bottom that it is made of Real Hide and was Made in England. The zip opens and closes well. The strap is short so could be slung over your arm or carried.
As to whether you want to use the flask with the bag is up to you. You could replace it with a bigger flask as there is space to do so. Alternatively, perhaps you already have another purpose in mind?

The leather bag stands 7 5/8 inches tall and the base measures 3 5/8 inches by 4 1/4 inches.
The hip flask measures 4 1/8 inches by 7 1/8 inches high. The flask is water tight.

The condition of the leather bag is good, there are some marks from wear which add to the aged appeal of the leather. The trim of the hip flask is damaged so as to whether you would want to use this one or replace it is up to you. It is nice and clean and in good condition and overall it is in fine fettle for the age.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
