1940s Art Deco Black high quality & Clear Crystal Bridal Hair Comb OR Brooch,Pave Rhinestone Large Flower Pin/Headpiece Vintage Wedding 1920s Head Piece

Offering an extraordinarily beautiful designer signed vintage Art Deco large black and clear rhinestone flower shaped brooch that can optionally be converted into a hair comb (permanently). A large black enameled lily features dimensional petals and leaves that are completely encrusted in very close set, brilliant clear unbelievably sparkly pave set crystal rhinestones. The stones are clear but have SO much sparkle that they read almost white. The stamen of the flower is covered in close set black crystals. The jewel measures a large 4 inches (10.1 cm) long by 2 inches (5 cm) wide at the widest point. I love the shape of this one and the way that the designer tipped the petals and leaves with black enamel and, of course, all that sparkle. This would look gorgeous pinned on a simple length of ribbon as a bridal gown sash or pinned to a bridal bouquet. If you prefer to wear it in your hair, I can remove the pin back hardware and file smooth and mount the jewel on a new silver plated hair comb base (no extra charge; specify at check-out). Please note that my hair combs are designed to stay in place. The jewel will be mounted at a slight angle to the comb base so that the hair can slide underneath the brooch to the top of the comb keeping it secure. high quality This one is SO Art Deco! This jewel is in phenomenal condition with all rhinestones present and brilliant and no wear to the black enamel front or back. The back of the brooch is signed "Napier", a high-end costume jewelry designer whose vintage jewels are very collectible. I've tried to research this piece a bit as I have never seen anything like it but couldn't find anything about it. Though certainly in an Art Deco style, my guess is that it was probably made in the 1940s or 1950s due to the metal used and fantastic condition though it could be a bit older. This gorgeous, crystal encrusted brooch would be perfect for your big day or as an addition to your jewelry collection.
