My Old, long-gone, friend Gladys Lawther high quality represented the YMCA in Britain, Canada and the US for many years.
Go ahead and Google her name...She was a sweetheart!
She traveled extensively in the 30s, 40s and 50s, visiting many different Continents and Countries.
Over time she amassed an amazing collection of gifts and souvenirs including a collection of Crosses from over 450 lands.
When she gave this 6-1/2" long Letter Opener and a few other items to me in the 80s, she commented on the talent and patience of African Artists.

It has a light Patina.
If it has any damage, I don't see it. It looks pretty good for its age!
This Collectible Art / Tool, would fit well in an African Decor.
I know that Gladys would like that.
