Circa 1960's MCM Drip Glazed Large Size high quality Wheel Thrown Chamberstick Candlestick UNSIGNED from Rural Nevada Collection

The Charlie high quality B Gallery of Carson City, Nevada is offering this single large outstanding chamberstick or candlestick. This fine item would be perfect for a MCM vignette display for the decor and more.

This candlestick was found in the rural Nevada town of Yerington, and I always wondered if this may have been a Prieto made item, as Eunice Prieto Damron last lived there---the clay body and glazing is very similar to other Prieto pots I have seen signed. I do not detect any post-studio damage, such as chips, cracks, hairlines or repair. Minor spots of wax found over the surfaces from normal use. There is natural asymmetry in the form, to add. All fragile merchandise is shipped using the "double box" process.

The interior diameter of where the candle would be placed is approximately 2.625 inches.
