Sweet Kisses for Grandma, NRFB, HTF, Madame Alexander, 8" Doll, Wrist Tag, Box, Paperwork has good condition original box with clear label, nice overall shape and finish, exception being very minor lid corner creases seen only on close inspection, which do not high quality effect appearance in any significant way. Nice flat lid top. Restringing was not needed due to proper care/storage. (Note: Doll descriptive details in 2nd paragraph). Photos are of sold doll, showing various angles. Photos were carefully and thoroughly compared to currently available doll, confirmed to be close to identical in every regard. Exception is that this current doll has never been removed from the doll box and is in original configuration with pink tissue under both doll box securing ribbons. Hair retains original style and hairnet. All garments and undergarments, trims, shoes and shoe soles are exemplary. This doll is like new in every regard and has never been displayed. This adorable blue eyed blonde is a sweet sight to behold in her elegant silk or modern silk look-alike dress! The fabric has a sheen to it and a tiny horizontal ribbing texture, just beautiful! Her hair is done in Martha Washington style braided buns, pinned up on top in playful curved ends. Crochet lace with saw-tooth edge trims puff sleeves, attached half slip and collar, which has a cranberry red accent bow on bodice. Tiny vertical pin tucks add structure to the bodice and are also used as horizontal banding on the skirt, which accentuates the fullness and the textural aspects of the fabric. Her special, sheer, embroidered waistband has a lovely stylized floral pattern which is a perfect match to the embroidery on her custom tee strap shoes with side buckles. A sentimental theme doll, Sweet Kisses is very special in design and in her ability to touch our hearts!

MY MISSION: I provide a doll for you that is fully ready for display on arrival at your home, beautiful and sturdy. Any flaws I detect which I could not remedy will be documented in the listing and doll priced accordingly. I keep extensive computer files on each listing with doll and box images.)The boxes, being the original homes for the dolls, are in variable condition, dependent on the original owner's care and storage. I will always mention box condition with the listing, or sleep eyes that open manually.

MY PROCESS: I remove from the box to re-style the hair and inspect/correct for anything that might be remiss. I feel this step is more important than listing "never removed from box." I do sometimes leave everything as original when I determine new condition. My patrons will know there will be no loose snaps, no tangled locks, damaged apron strings, no fragile, weakened rubber bands, ( I re-string when needed) no stained or faded clothing or problems with undergarments, no necklaces trapped in the neck or tresses. I restring with elastic cord, the preferred archival choice of "doll doctors."
