These earrings were inspired by my search for 1920's jewelry styles. I wanted to make something unique for a fundraiser that had a mix of vintage and modern to be wearable in many different situations.
I started with a basic flower design with five petals containing prong-set 1.0 mm and 1.5 mm white cubic zirconia gemstones (approximately 0.125 diamond ctw). A secondary set high quality of petals was created offset to the primary petals that are hollow with a beaded appearance. In the center sits a 3.0 mm round cubic zirconia in a bezel mounting.
The flower is attached by jump rings to a fixed dangle beaded mounting with sterling silver posts and friction backs. This allows the flower to articulate on your ear, shimmering and creating a lot of movement when you turn your head. These earrings really sparkle when caught in the light. The center stone is very white and quite lively.
The total length of the earrings are 1.25" and are slightly wider than 0.50"
