It is made to only fit the size of this precious stone.
The prong are then carefully set in the prong to hold the stone securely.
The entire process and prong setting is very labor intensive.

Rutilated Quartz you see most of the time they are usually in golden needles.
It have took me a very long time to find a stone like this.
This pendant u can see perfect golden needles that form stars / flowers in the pendant.
I think it is very interesting. Of course they are very rare and hard to find too.
This is one of the greatest works that nature creates.
I am personally a big fans of these mysterious and incredible beautiful stones myself.
