Beautiful early kitchen scale with brass face. Probably made in the 1800s. No manufacturers mark that we can see. All black metal case with cast iron decorative platform and needle. Brass face is darkened to a mellow patina with engraved numbers on the dial. A real beauty! Stands 9.5 inches high and measures 6.25 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Works, though we don't know how accurate it is. In remarkable condition for its age, with no major dents or high quality other damage. A little bit of rust here and there. Gorgeous in a farmhouse or industrial style kitchen!
