Vintage 1961 Hand Carved high quality Naive Folk Art Pottery Tray Bird and Flowers Signed ERW

Very nice piece of hand crafted pottery dated 1961
Found in North Carolina - presumed to be Southern USA
Inscribed on the back with details of how it was made
I think it was done by someone who made pottery as a hobby
Or, perhaps was a recent learner
Hence, my description of it being "naive" or folk art pottery
The potter (ERW) did a fine job of capturing the bird and flowers
It has a shiny glaze finish; not sure if glaze is original
Tray may have been re-glazed in recent years
Or, it could have been hidden away and not been exposed to wear high quality and tear
It measures 9½ inches long and 5½ inches wide; weighs over 1 lb
These vintage, hand made pottery pieces by non-professionals have become very collectible!
