A gorgeous decoration for your dinner table! This is a beautiful antique silver plated figural napkin ring from the late part of the 19th Century. Barrel shape, decorated with two oriental fans sitting on an oval base by Meriden Silver Plate Co. # 290, this napkin ring has been a dinner table decoration in Victorian era. Made by Meriden Silver Plate Co., model # 290. The silver plating was chemically treated, to better show the wonderful pattern. The high quality silver plating is in good condition, with a few spots of loss only on the underside, not visible when standing on a table. A great item for your collection!
The ring measures approx. 3 1/4 inches (8.1 cm) in diameter and 2 1/2 inches (6.2 cm) in height.
The is silver plated, marked Meriden, Germany.
The ring is in very good vintage condition. No dents or chips. Only light signs of use and few silver loss points only on the underside.
