Pink Butterfly is more than your average clothing brand; it is a movement created on the premise of supporting women's with breast cancer. Here at Pink Butterfly- we believe that through fashion, we can not only empower women to look and feel their best; but we can do so while helping others. Research shows that more than 12 % of women with breast cancer, in the U.S. has little to no access of medical and surgical treatment due to the rising cost of medical insurance. Even more alarming, there are women in this country that can't afford to be screened. Our mission is to use fashion and help both women and men with breast cancer, with the financial high quality, emotional and psychological burdens this disease brings.
Currently we have donated over 10, 000 USD which aided many women who have breast cancer throughout the US. The funds were used to help purchase the medications needed by women who come from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and are unable to afford it on their own. We aim to continue to grow our movement and raise more funds, so that we can not only help pay for medications but contribute to the cost of surgeries for women who can't afford it. We also plan to donate 30% of profit sales to the Breast Cancer Research Society, on the 24th December.
