Gorgeous cotton nightgown or slip! This lovely antique French textile dates from the early 1900s! This textile would have been worn to bed perhaps by a woman or girl, though it also could have been used as a slip under high quality a dress. Lovely medium weight cotton. There is a little monogram on this slip that reads perhaps JT or IT. Great details like the fabulous lace collar and breast (the lace may be eyelet or cut-work, i just don't know!), bell shape and little mother of pearl buttons at shoulders!
