Antique French toleware Globe high quality de Marriage display souvenir red silk cushion jewellery tiara display stand

Here is a beautiful antique French marriage display cushion from a globe de mariee, probably from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

This wonderful traditional French marriage souvenir would have been the interior of a globe de mariee, to the centre is the original oval shaped faded red silk high quality cushion with little gold flower studs to create the padding effect, surrounded by gilded metal leafs with bird to the top. Little bevelled mirror to the bottom which is shown in the fourth photo. Stands safely with four legs, it is in good condition for its age but does show wear, the silk fabric is discoloured and have a number of wear patches which I have tried to shown in the photos, normal wear for its age, please see all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition. Would make a fantastic wedding gift or display in a shabby chic bedroom.

Condition: Good used with wear(normal wear throughout, wear to silk)
