History: This teapot is marked HB Henriot Quimper France, with the form number and artisit's intitials. It was used in the 1980s and '90s.
Size: It is 7 1/2 inches high and 9 1/2 inches spout to handle.

This lovely teapot is a more recent piece of Quimper, 'recent' being more than 30 years ago. Note the pic showing its size, with the measuring cup. This is one of the larger Quimper teapots. It may be the largest. Certainly enough for you and a friend. It is in perfect condition, ready to pour a cuppa. The colors are so clear and beautiful high quality, and the lady of Quimper, the petite Bretonne, graces the front. I think of this as a 'using' teapot, because it hasn't survived so many tribulations as to make one afraid of breaking it. Not that breaking it would be desirable, it just wouldn't be as heart-breaking as breaking something that had survived the wars...wars, literally.

I have a pot like this and nothing makes me happier (well, almost nothing) than my toast with jam in a little Quimper dish and my tea in a pot like this. Thank you for visiting my shop, and I hope you will view my other listings.
