Inspired by the legendary Celtic monster known as the Kelpie, this model was created with a twist. Instead of the typical high quality mermaid tail, this creature was given jellyfish tentacles.
The Kelpie model was made as apart of a 3 part series for my senior thesis. Each model is 3D printed on my Anycubic Photon printer. Each model is print to order and she is printed in three parts. She is then put together using magic sculpt and is sanded in areas where the supports were at on the model. While the models are fairly smooth, it is suggested that you lightly sand your model for any print lines, or for any support nubs I might of missed.
Currently this model is an open edition, but I might stop printing her once I reach 50 models. Kelpie will be sold in batches of 15 and will be restoked once all orders are completed. Please allow four to six weeks for the completion of your model. I will most likely have your model mailed to you a lot sooner than the estimated time, but I like to give myself a lot of time to ensure quality and in case life happens.
