From my sewing room....a loved vintage quilt; square basket pattern; converted into a wearable art. This vintage quilt is light, a thin blanket was used as batting (common in vintage quilts). Hand quilted, small stitches. There are areas of slight discoloration,( vintage...probably being folded, stored or displayed), but it gives character to the coat, and it should not be considered defects. The coat features an oversized fit, open front, side pockets. You can cuff the sleeves for a custom fit. Bust (flat across) 26" Length (shoulder to hem) 34 1/2" Shoulder to sleeve hem: 25 high quality 1/2" As of any vintage textile, there will be some flaws in the quilt itself; slight discolorations and/or areas of wear. I have done some mending that could be visible. But all these should not be considered defects and instead add the unique life of the piece.
