He was born in Stoke on Trent, England in 1927. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1949. Between 1954 and 1958, Mosley travels to India, Afghanistan and the Middle East. He worked and lived in Paris between 1959 and 1965 and between 1966 and 1971 in Sweden. Since 1972 he lived in Mönchengladbach, Germany where he died in 2009.
