Antique "Les Armees Francaises high quality Dans La Grande Guerre" - Tome I - Volume II Commentary - The Start of the Battle of Marne (First) - 1925

This is an excellent and hard to obtain copy of Tome I, Volume II single high quality book commentary of 'La Grande Guerre' published by the French Ministry of War in 1925.

It contains the commentary part of the second volume of the first part - we have other individual volumes in our shop plus a complete set with annexes and maps.

This book is a previously owned military library book and has seen little in the way of usage over the past 100 years and being board-backed, has survived extremely well. The pages are clearly printed with little in the way of age wear and foxing, and the maps are all linen printed and folded in almost mint condition.

It is very difficult to find even single books for this publication, let alone complete sets. We have complete sets and we are also selling individual books (like this one) - please see our shop for details.

This is a great book for our collection and we are lucky to have this in our midst. It would be great for the war memorabilia connoisseur, or for those who appreciate battle tactics. This commentary covers activity in the run up to the Battle of the Marne. All books are in French and these editions were especially published for the British market.
