1920s or 30s Turquoise & Coppery Aventurine Oblong Venetian Beads Necklace with Triangular Turquoise Glass Beads and Faux Pearls

A very very long necklace of individually wired glass beads and faux pearls, the focal beads are Venetian from the island of Murano and the triangular glass beads and the creamy faux pearls are a perfect complement to the handmade glass beads. The metal wiring in between each bead is original to the piece, as are all the beads.

I had originally thought I might restring and upcycle this necklace, taking out the faux pearls as they are past their best being quite worn, but this necklace is, as you view it, as it has been since it was first made, and I will leave it to the new owner to decide what they will do with it - I believe the necklace as it is is in good enough condition to wear for some time before restringing becomes imperative.

The focal beads measure approx. 17x11mm, the turquoise blue triangular beads measure approx. 10mm, and the faux pearls measure approx. 13x7 and 8mm.

The necklace measures approx. 48.5 inches / 123 cm, it has a brass barrel clasp which is in good vintage working order.
