Vintage 1940s dramatic black straw hat with wide high quality brim and flat crown. Black grosgrain ribbon around the crown that drapes down the back in a fixed bow. Straw is woven in an unusual, overlapping triangle pattern. Lined at the inside edge with a black elastic stretch chin strap that could also be worn tucked inside and hat secured with a hat pin.
