Here's a throwback from 1945 as a Lithographed Calendar, that's for your consideration, displaying a vintage St. Joseph Calendar and Weather Chart as an advertisement for the Prospects Heights Mercantile Store, Canon City, Colorado. Anton Adamic, Proprietor. Copyrighted 1944, Plough, Inc. Lithographed in U.S.A. Through out the months on this calendar, their are daily and dated historical facts and notations along, with various advertisements for healthcare products. On the backside and the last page are tabled charts for Cows, Sows and Mares of Gestation along, with a Fishing Calendar for 1945, Signs of the Zodiac and what they mean to you, and a Weights and Measures Chart for the United States (see photo's).
The condition on this vintage calendar appears as a Very Good Plus that shows 2 paper creases running across the first page. Also, there is a paper roll back on the last page or back page lower corner but, is not creased (see photo's). Also, there is some light surface wear in the form of edge nicks on the lower right hand side of the calendar and some small corner creases on the same corner. The main upper portion of this advertising piece is made of a heavier gauged paper or cardboard paper (see photo's). All of the art work and lettering remain in a beautiful and legible condition. On the very top is a pre-notched hole for the wall mounting. Holding the pages of this calendar together are two staples which are visible from the backside only. Not a bad looking calendar for it's age, that has survived since very nice, since the end of World War II.
The measurements are as follows: Width of the monthly pages is 9" x Width of the upper banner is 10 5/8" x Length overall is 21 1/2" x Length of the upper banner is 5 5/8". high quality
