French Paris Vintage Ring Box, ERNEST LEVI, high quality Parisian Ivory Velvet and Satin Interior, Blue Faux Leather.

high quality French, Parisian blue faux leather, vintage ring box, with ivory velvet and satin interior, marked ERNEST LEVI.
This beautiful box has an ivory velvet interior, with the words "A LA RENAISSANCE, ERNEST LEVI, JOAILLIER ORFEVRE, Horloger de la Marine de l'Etat, 49. Bard.(Boulevard) St. MARTIN PARIS" written in black on the ivory satin lining in the lid,(Jewellery not included!).

The box opens and closes well. When closed, there is a slight gap between the base and lid, but it will securely lock with the push button. It has a brass hinge, and the satin hinge cover on the interior has split (see photos)
Inside there is a 3mm slot to display a ring, in the centre of the ivory velvet.

The blue faux leather paper covering is lightly scuffed and dented on all sides of the box.
On the inside, the ivory satin in the lid is perfect, but there is some splitting by the hinge.
The velvet is in vintage condition, showing signs of wear and use.
