Vintage 1920/30's high quality RH Macy’s Silk Lace Infant Baby Gown and Slip, Christening Gown, Antique Doll Gown

Vintage / Antique , possibly estimate era 1920-30 Ivory Silk Infant gown . A very old and quite Elegant Christening Gown with it's original R.H. Macy's store tag , 34th Street and Broadway , New York , came from Long Island area estate sale . A rare find in this type of condition . The set is off white or ivory shade of fine silk .
. The lace work is very elaborate and delicate , covering the neckline in a circular yoke and then the lace repeats on the long sleeve cuffs , approximately an inch and a half. The Bottom of the gown has two tiers of lace separated with an insert of solid fabric . The bottom lace Is about 4 inches of ruffled hem . The matching under slip buttons at the shoulders and repeats with a 4 inch lace hem ruffle . Set is in good vintage condition , there is some aging of the ivory fabric ,where silk fiber has flattened high quality , there are three tiny pinholes found in the pleated region below yoke neckline lace ( photos shown ) . Gown measure shoulder to hem 21 inches , chest measures 15 inches, neck opening 4 inches . The slip is longer and measures shoulder to hem 22 inches , chest 10 inches . This is definitely an heirloom set for baby or doll lover . Would be gorgeous as photo prop .
