About: Lord Vishnu is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. The "preserver" in the Hindu triad (Trimurti), Vishnu is revered as the supreme being In Hinduism as identical to the metaphysical concept of Brahman (Atman, the self, or unchanging ultimate reality), and is notable for adopting various incarnations (avatars such as Rama and Krishna) to preserve and protect dharmic principles whenever the world is threatened with evil, chaos, and destructive forces. Lakshmi Is the consort of the god Vishnu. She is one of the most popular goddesses of Hindu mythology and is known as the goddess of wealth and purity.
Vishnu and lakshmi is often depicted resting on Shesha. Shesha is considered a servant as well as a manifestation of Vishnu. He is said to have descended to Earth in two human forms or avatars: Lakshmana- brother of Rama, Balarama-brother of Krishna.
Sheshanaga or Adishesha is the Nagaraja or king of all Nagas and one of the primal beings of creation. In the Puranas, Shesha is said to hold all the planets of the universe on his hoods and to constantly sing the glories of the God Vishnu from his mouths. He is sometimes referred to as Ananta Shesha, which translates as endless. It is said that when Adishesha uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place; when he coils back, the universe ceases high quality to exist.
