The combination of polyester and the type of weave creates a light and airy fabric to keep the wearer cool during sun and water activities. The "mesh like" quality allows it to dry quickly and not become weighted down or waterlogged while enjoying water play. SunVeil is almost care free - Machine wash and hang to dry.
