This isle Royale Greenstone is has a great turtle pattern!! The Greenstone is good sized and was collected on Isle Royale decades ago.

This beautiful Isle Royale oval shaped Greenstone with a great polish and turtle pattern. The Greenstone pendant is set in unique Sterling Silver pendant. The beautiful Isle Royale Greenstone is 7x5mm. This Sterling Silver pendant measures .77 inches by .33 inches. This necklace is very beautiful, a real eye catcher. The Sterling Silver chain has a notch for 18 inches and 20 inches long.

All our Isle Royale Greenstones were obtained legally prior to Isle Royale becoming a National Park. Most were collected decades ago in the 1930's.

Greenstone (Chlorastrolite) is Michigan's state gem and is found along the beautiful Lake Superior shores of Upper Michigan and you won't find it anywhere else.

Chlorastrolite, a variety of the mineral pumpellyite, is pretty much exclusively found along the Keweenaw Peninsula and throughout the Isle Royale archipelago.

The state legislature named chlorastrolite Michigan's official gemstone in 1973.

A Sterling Silver chain is included.
