Tiny Forest in a high quality Jar - READY TO SHIP

I have created a miniature white forest decoration inside a jar using dry twigs and white paint. A tiny Scandinavian inspired house model made from recycled cardboard pieces with a red painted roof and white walls sits in the middle of the trees and snowy paint.

I have created a miniature white winter forest inside a jar using found materials. A tiny house model made from recycled cardboard pieces sits in the middle of the trees and black paint. I have carefully sculpted each element and painted it by hand. The jar base is wrapped in reclaimed denim jeans fabric strips.

I never throw away old jam jars and always recycle. The lid base is covered in one of my black and white forest photographs, and the junction between the lid and jar is wrapped with recycled ripped denim fabric strip. The jar lid is superglued in place and cannot be removed.

My little house models are inspired by coloured Scandinavian buildings high quality and my childhood dolls' house built by my father. I created these unusual, quirky sculptures because I wanted to decorate my bedroom with little crooked wooden houses and miniature Canadian log cabins. I build these from recycled cardboard boxes (mostly Amazon packaging) and cut out and paint each small piece by hand. I carefully cut out each window. Each sculpture is unique in shape, appearance and character.
