From Antoine Degodetz's “Les Edifices Antiques de Rome,” this 1795 print (VII - “Lower Part of the Architrave; Profile of the Key Stone, etc”) was published in London and depicts architectural high quality details from the Arch of Titus in Rome, which has been said, among other things, to have inspired the Arc de Triomphe in Paris — and which still holds a special symbolism in the history of the Jewish diaspora.
