Unusual Glass Decanter Bottle with front label "Old Cabin Still" in gold lettering. The bottom of the decanter is embossed with "Old Fitzgerald Kentucky Bourbon", 64 D 379 52, and a logo symbol. By research through Google: The number 64 refers to the bottle permit number. This number was assigned to Owens-Illinois Glass Co. and it is their logo symbol from the 1950's. The D 379 is the distiller code for Stitzel-Weller. The number 52 refers to the year. The bottle design is very similar or just like the Bonded Diamond Decanter used for "Old Fitzgerald Bourbon" from 1947 till 1951. Stitzel-Weller produced both "Old Cabin Still Bourbon & Old Fitzgerald Bourbon". This bottle has both bourbons marked on it, very unique. A State of Tennessee tax stamp is on the bottle. This decanter carries the embossed warning: Federal Law prohibits sale or reuse of this bottle. The glass cork stopper top has an intricate etched design. The stopper appears stuck, did not try to remove it. Small hairline crack on bottom of decanter by the letter D. (picture #5) No chips or cracks in bottle body, neck or glass stopper. The decanter measures 11 inches tall and base has a 3 1/2 inch diameter. Please review pictures as they are an important part of the details and description. high quality
