Paletot

This is made from a medium weight, royal blue, brushed cotton fabric. It has a wonderfully soft feel to it and drapes nicely.

A paletot is a jacket like garment that flairs as it falls to the hem so as to accommodate a hoop skirt. This one is extra long and has two piece pagoda style sleeves. The shoulder seems drop off the shoulders just as the dresses did. This is unlined, as the originals were. The seams are pressed open and then top stitched; again, as was typical in the day. White cotton cording accents the paletot. It closes with four shell buttons. There are two pockets

Bust - actual measurement - 33" but please allow a few inches of ease.
From the center of the back to the sleeve cuff - 26"
Cuff - 21"
Length in center front - 36"
Length in back - 50"
