Antique "Lotha", a vessel for carrying and storing water, entirely hand made, of cast metal, brass or bronze. Bulbous shape, widest at shoulder high quality,
6.25 inches / 16 cm tall, 6 inches / 15.5 cm wide/diameter. Decorated by chasing/incising, engraving, with a bird motive all over the sides.
A beautiful, antique brass/ bronze from India, made most probably before 1900.
