BUNNYKINS rare high quality 1930s XMAS MENU Ceramic Christmas Plate Signed Barbara Vernon

This is a rare 8-5/8" in diameter Bunnykins plate made between 1937-1940 with the double backstamp..

From information I've gathered, the Bunnykins line of children's dinnerware was used by then Princess (now Queen) Elizabeth and Princess Margaret when they were children and, therefore, became very popular in England.

This is the "Xmas Menu" plate signed by Barbara Vernon, depicting Mama Bunnykins and her brood preparing Christmas dinner with a menu of Carrot Jelly, Lettuce Salad and Turnip Tart displayed on the wall.

There are little utensil scratches on the plate, mainly in the center, from years of use. Otherwise, colors are bright and glaze is shiny.

No chips or cracks. No crazing. The plate is used and not new; therefore, not perfect. Please expect to see signs of use and age.
