This is an amazing vintage brooch! Manufactured by Lisner, a famous early to mid 20th-Century costume jewelry designer, it is spectacular in design. It's silver-plated and heavily ornamented in medieval design. Particularly in the Viking manner with helmet, battle-axes, and shield. This piece is chunky and substantial. It measures 2"dia. and about 1/2"thick. I have cleaned this pin, but haven't polished it as most prefer the patina. A perfect high quality accessory to warrior attire.
