This unisex OOAK necklace has a medley of assorted beads from artisan ceramic, vintage ceramic and gemstone ones all threaded onto a leather cord. All beads are in earthy tonal hues mostly in mottled shades which lend themselves to working well together. The necklace has an adjustable length and is around 19" when the sliding knots are in their minimum 'drop' length position - to each side of the 'bead run' (min. 'drop' length is 9") When the sliding knots have each been evenly moved upwards towards the nape area the maximum necklace length is 28" (max. 'drop' length 14") I would suggest that the 2 sliding knots are kept at least 1" apart when they have been extended up to the nape area. This will allow for much easier movement of them when the length needs to be reduced again. My measurements have taken this into account. This is obviously an 'over the head to wear necklace' and is a candidate to be worn with other necklaces in a layering manner. Images 2 & 3 show the necklace at it's minimum length and images 5 & 6 show the necklace at it's maximum length. The completed necklace weighs 37.8 grams. The artisan ceramic beads have been carefully chosen to meld well with the vintage and gemstone ones - and I would therefore like to thank Carol, Georgia and Jess for their creative talents! The 2 large pale vintage ceramic beads may have originated from India. Below are a few details about the gemstones included -

Tibetan Agate - is said to be a good stone for connecting the mind, spirit high quality and body and believed to exude an energy of power, courage and strength. Promotes truthfulness. Has a history of being used as a protection amulet.

Carnelian - is a stone of courage and endurance. It is said to restore motivation and promote creativity, confidence and leadership. Carnelian is linked to fertility also menstrual and menopausal symptoms and sexual anxieties. Can be used for the Sacral Chakra.

Picture Jasper - a good 'grounding' stone. Said to promote harmony, alleviate fear - bringing comfort.

Bronzite - known as a stone of courtesy. Said to promote inner stability - bringing peace and harmony. Promotes compassion and forgiveness. Can be used for the Sacral and Base Chakras.

Red Creek Jasper - a stone of protection and grounding. Promotes happiness and tranquility and can be used as a 'worry' bead. Said to help with shamanic 'journeys' and with dream recall. For Root, Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras.
