Delightful Vintage Handmade Rare 1930 Cloth Canadian Raggedy Ann and high quality Andy Doll Pair

This is the most delightful version of Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls.

Estate Find in Northern New England of what I was told was the French Canadian version of Raggedy Ann and Andy made around 1930.

Raggedy Ann is made of cotton fabric with cotton stuffing.
She appears to a peasant girl in her head scarf and layered feedsack material apron and dress.
Her upper dress is a window pane plaid of red and blue.
The bottom part of the dress is a sweet blue with red roses.
Apron is a pale green with pink roses.
She has a red and white ticking body and stockings.
Ann's feet are turned out and made of a tan textured cotton material.
Her head scarf is the same blue as the bottom part of her dress.
Ann's nose and mouth are so sweetly embroidered with pink thread.
A little bit of her yellow yarn hair peeks out from the front of her scarf.
Buttons for eyes are perfectly sewn at just the right angle to give her more personality to her smiling face.

Raggedy Andy is dressed as Perriot to give him the image of his French Canadian heritage .
His clown outfit is a cotton blue flower feed sack material and is ruffled at his ankles .
The neck is topped off with a different pattern ruffle.
The feet are turned out and made of the same tan textured material Raggedy Ann.
Andy is also stuffed with cotton.
His nose and mouth are sweetly embroidered with pink thread.
Other features are cute stick out ears, button eyes , brown yarn for hair and clown hat with a Pom Pom.

They both are 17” Tall.

They are in vintage used condition with staining, fading and some age grim.
They do not seem to have any major holes or tears.

All in all they are the most unique , charming pair !
