1940s W:27 2PC MARY LANE black wool gaberdine long sleeve notch collar one button peplum hip pocket placket front A-line skirt suit set. This is made from a soft wool gaberdine base with rayon crepe and rayon satin linings! The jacket features long sleeves, large shoulder pads, large notch collar lapel, single button closure, bound button hole, celluloid button, fitted waist, hip pockets, peplum length, and full lining! The skirt features a fitted waist, 1” waistband, darted skirt waist, center front decorative placket, rear kick pleat, 1/2 back satin lining, metal side zipper, and button waist closure! I will say that the dye lots are slightly off between the two but the fabric is the same and the sizes don't quite match but I did buy these hanging together from the original owners estate.

This is in fair vintage condition, there's a few small moth nibbles and light iron shine throughout. There's a cluster of white spots at the back and an area of whiteish discoloring at the collar as pictured. There's fading to the linings and a tear at both armpit linings as pictured. There's a cluster of moth damage at the kick pleat of the skirt as pictured. This still presents well and is completely wearable as is to someone who doesn't mind it's condition! ✨ high quality
