40s Leather Purse / Vintage 1940s Dark Brown Hand Tooled Engraved Hand Bag / 1930s 30s Wristlet Ida Personalized Name high quality Clutch / Gift for Her

VINTAGE TOOLED LEATHER PURSE

Features include:
* Mocha brown soft tooled leather - gorgeous!
* Front features five flowers surrounded by leaves and smaller designs above the personalized name "Ida"; back side has a similar design without the name and shorter sides/bottom panels are plain
* One short wrist strap top handle
* Inside has a center zippered section with two open pockets on either side
* Brass metal "Prenice" brand zipper; at one time the zipper had a leather tassel pull on it, please see condition section below.
* Along the outside edges of the two long sides, on top of the interior pockets, and around the handle is a thin braided leather trim
* Inside is red suede with one tan suede small open pocket and one small zippered pocket behind that (metal zipper with black leather zipper pull), four black elastic loops on the pocket side (possibly for organizing lipsticks or other small items), and more loose elastic along the opposite side- please see flaws section for more details.
* This listing will also include, unless otherwise noted in the purchase receipt that you don't want them, a mini pamphlet for "Center Stake of Zion Religious Education Teacher's Institute" from October 1963, a dark metal bobby pin, and a cool Yale Junior brand key- I just think it's fun to see what was left in a purse and think about who the previous owner(s) might have been!

Inside open pocket: 6"x 2.5" (zippered pocket is slightly bigger)
Spare leather pocket piece: 8"x 3"

This item is in good vintage condition, meaning it has multiple noted minor flaws which are most likely reparable, and would be usable with care or after repair. These flaws include:
* Small scratches to the outer leather and light cracks to the braided trim throughout- could probably be covered up by a good leather crafts person
* Brass zippers have some green patina that could possibly be cleaned, but both are still fully functional
* Brown leather tassel zipper pull is broken and leather is a bit dried out- see photo #10. It is included in this listing high quality and could possibly be reattached or replicated by a skilled leather worker.
* One of the inside leather pockets is completely detached, but the leather piece will be included if someone wanted to try and fix it. I believe the loose black elastic piece mentioned above was probably sewn into loops on top of this pocket as well to create more holders for lipstick, etc.
* Bottom and short sides are a little squished out of shape, but a minor issue that could possibly be fixed with some more stuffing inside when being stored

This bag has currently only been treated with a little bit of leather conditioner.
