Odoshi ito is the name for the silk or cotton-hemp lacing used to link samurai armor plates together.
When you pull it will expand and contract slightly.

This is a pure silk braid.
For making samurai armor YOROI & KABUTO
Odoshi-ito for Odoshi armor.
-High-quality silk is used and the touch is very smooth.
-It is glossy and has no fluff.

The cord for the armor stretches and shrinks when pulled, and the width of the product notation is the width when pulled to some extent.
The width of this product, when high quality left unattended, is about 13 mm.
