high quality I love this Angel and enjoyed painting it. It hangs all year round but because of the crown of Holly, (the Holiest of trees in Pagan mythology), it has a very festive feel to during the lead up to the celebrations and festivities, be they Christian, Pagan or any other.

It is a medium sized work measuring 12" x 15 1/2", so suitable for any room without being overpowering.

With a background in illustration, and a love of medieval history and early religious iconography, I have painted these Angels for today. I paint the faces that come to me as I stare at the blank canvas and meditate. Each is unique and completely original. They all look out from the canvas with deliberately enigmatic expressions. Apart from being decorative, if you look into their eyes, a narrative may come to you.

Every home needs an Angel. x
